Thank you for choosing Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools.

Families must complete a bus pass application for each student who requires transportation. Applications are completed online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal and SchoolEngage.

Before You Apply

You will need your PowerSchool Parent Portal login

If you do not know your username or password, please contact the school your child is registered at. The school secretary can assist you with Parent Portal access.

Complete one application per student

If you have more than one child requiring transportation, complete a separate bus pass application for each child.

New or changed transportation?

A new bus pass application is required if your family has moved, your child’s transportation address has changed, or your child requires transportation for the new school year.

Bus Pass Application Step-by-Step Instructions

Tip: Read through the steps before starting your application. You can refer back to this page while completing the form.  SchoolEngage is not accessed through the PowerSchool mobile app. Please use a web browser to sign in to PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Step 1: Sign in to PowerSchool Parent Portal

Sign in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account.

Go to PowerSchool Parent Portal

Step 2: Open the Navigation menu

After signing in, open the Navigation menu located in the upper left-hand corner by clicking the arrow icon:

Step 3: Select SchoolEngage

Scroll down and click the SchoolEngage icon:

Step 4: Select Students

In the upper left-hand corner, click the Students icon:

Step 5: Select the student

In the upper left-hand corner, click on the applicable child’s name. You can only complete one child’s bus pass application at a time.

Step 6: Start a new Bus Application Form

In the Bus Application Form section, click the + New icon to begin your child’s bus pass application:

Step 7: Complete and submit the application

Complete all required information in the form and submit the application for review.

Once you have reviewed the instructions, sign in to Parent Portal to begin your bus pass application.

How to Request a Replacement Bus Pass

If your child has lost or damaged their bus pass, please request a replacement through PowerSchool Parent Portal.

1. Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

2. Select School Fees.

3. Find the Replacement Bus Pass form or fee item.

4. Complete the required information.

5. Pay the replacement fee.

6. Once received, Transportation will print a new pass and send it to the student’s school.

Need Help?

New parents

New parents creating a PowerSchool Parent Portal account will receive an email once student registration has been approved at the school. Please check your junk mail folder if you do not see the email.

Trouble accessing Parent Portal?

New or returning parents who are having trouble accessing Parent Portal should contact their child’s school for assistance with username, password, or general support navigating the steps above.
