St. Catherine teachers Jennifer Kreller and Kaitlin Kirkeby have been awarded $5000 from Inside Education for their grant application on
ENERGY DETECTIVES: POWERING ALBERTA
This fall, their students will investigate how Alberta produces and uses energy, focusing on renewable and non-renewable energy sources. Through hands-on exploration, comparison, and critical they will evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different energy sources and consider their environmental and economic impacts. The project will culminate in an Energy Expo, where St. Catherine students will design and present interactive stations that showcase different energy sources and their impacts.
