Report Cards

Grande Prairie and District Catholic Schools has implemented a new report card in all of our elementary schools and will implement a new report card in all junior high schools in 2009-2010. At each of the three reporting periods, parents receive a multiple page document with more specific information.

In 2010-2011 all junior high schools and high schools will implemented Power School, an online tool for parents to review their child’s attendance and assignments. This new system replaced Students’ Achieve.

Elementary Report Card
The Elementary Report Card will focus on:

• Growth as a Learner (Growth attachment)
• Comments on Student Learning
• Special Programming
• Student Goal Setting (parent assisted)

Junior High Report Card
The Junior High Report Card will focus on:

• Student Achievement
• Comments on Student Learning
• Special Programming
• Effort (Effort attachment)
• Student Goal Setting (parent assisted)
