Looking for Information about the YMCA Child Care Program?

The YMCA (Grande Prairie) runs three unique programs at Kateri Mission Catholic School and Holy Cross Catholic School. The YMCA program is available for students in all Catholic and Public schools and students can ride First Bus school buses after school to either facility! The programs are as follows

• Before School Care (Grades K - 6)
• After School Care (Grades K - 6)
• KinderCare (Child care for days opposite Kindergarten classes)
• Casual Care (on Professional Development Days & certain holidays)

Registration packages are available by contacting the YMCA (in Kateri) at 539-4280 or the YMCA (at Holy Cross) at 539-5228.

Looking for Information about the ACFA Child Care Program?

Parents with students in St. Gerard School have access to Pre-Kindergarten and Before/ After School Child Care through the ACFA (L’Association canadienne –francaise de l’Alberta).

Options include
- 3 to 5 Year Old Program (Monday to Thursday from 8:45 to 11:45 or from 1:00 to 3:00). ACFA has costs for 4 mornings/week. They also have an option for parents to pay for 2 mornings/week. You will also need to buy a membership from ACFA for $25. The program runs from September – June!
