Microsoft Office 2007 (Windows) and Office 2008 (Macintosh)
These are available at the Catholic Education Centre for the reduced cost of $15. Individuals must sign an agreement for software use and agree to remove the software when they leave the school district.

Smart Notebook 10
Smart Notebook 10 is now available for download. Teachers can get the serial number from their lead teacher. Students can also download the software for home and get the serial number from their lead teacher.

Tools 4 Teachers

Tools4Teachers is a secure Alberta Education website developed by the Distributed Learning Resources Branch, for use by Alberta Educators.

The website consists of authorized distance learning resources and digital learning objects that Alberta Educators can use to assist them in the development of their own print and digital lessons. These resources and learning objects are based on the print resources produced by the Distributed Learning Resources Branch.

The Alberta Video Co-acquisition Consortium

The Alberta Video Co-Acquisition Consortium (COAC) is a partnership of Alberta school districts, learning/media resource centers, regional resource centres and Alberta Education. Together, we purchase provincial licenses for educational videos so that our member teachers and their students have access to more high quality video resources at a lower cost.

In addition to accessing streamed video programs from this web site, Alberta COAC teachers can borrow DVDs from either their school district or regional media resource centres. Member school district and regional media resource centres can purchase at minimal cost copies of licensed COAC video programs for their use or purchase master copies of these licensed COAC video programs so they can make CD or DVD copies for their district.
