Position specification requirements:
• Office administration program or equivalent, and 2 or 3 years experience in a similar position.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office is required.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are a definite asset.
• The successful candidate must be team oriented and able to work in a busy hi-tech environment.
• Duties include mail distribution, managing or maintaining office supplies, answering the phone.
School / Administrative Secretaries
Position specification requirements:
• Business Administration Diploma and/or Equivalent including Office Management
• Proficiency with the following applications: SIRS, Edulink, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Office including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook
Duties:
• Receptionist for the school
• Admin. support for the Principal/Vice-Principal, Instructional and Non-Instructional Staff as required
• Preparation, processing and distribution of all documentation and correspondence
• Continuity and confidentiality of all school records
• Maintaining student attendance records
• Office support for students and their guardians as required
• Liaison to Central Office, district School and outside agencies
• Professional work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
