*New school bus route notification system (First Student Rural Buses) at Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools

(February 2, 2015)

Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools would like to inform families of a new school bus route notification system (First Student Rural Buses) which will be rolled out starting (February 4, 2015). This new system will allow users to subscribe online to receive rural bus route status notifications by email for one or more routes – the choice is yours. This is an improvement over the old system, which sent all bus route notifications to all subscribers.

To sign up for school bus route notifications by email, visit:  http://gpcsd.ca/Routes.php (*starting February 4, 2015).
• First, choose your bus route number from the drop-down List.
• Then, enter your email address.
• Lastly, click the Subscribe button.

Cancelled buses due to inclement weather will also be aired on local radio stations.

New Bus Stop Program

The Bus Stop program is designed to alert parents, students, teachers, etc. of changes to the status of the busses on any given day. Notification will be given on this website when there are changes to the regular operating times of any of the First Student, Peace Wapiti or Peace 10 Buses that transport our students.. Please check this website for bus cancellations or delays. Busses not running due to inclement weather will still be announced over the Grande Prairie radio stations.
